Bayern sextuple?
[edit]I can understand the sextuple in two ways. Six titles in one season, or six titles in one year. Neither of the two situations is the case of Bayern, who won five titles in 2020, and the sixth that is attributed to them, the FIFA Club World Cup, they won in 2021. - The domestic super, the European Super and the Club World Cup are always played the following season regardless of the date, and they are not completely committed to a calendar year, Barcelona won the Club World Cup on December 19, 2009, if they won after only 13 days, I mean on January 1, 2010 would it be this achievement cancelled? This standard is illogical. --Mishary94 (talk) 05:44, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
I think it's logical because really, the only sextuple that makes sense is the season. The season, in the case of Bayern from July to June, is the natural time frame in which club football is organized, and where records should be measured. No one, to my knowledge, has done a season sextuple. The Barcelona thing is limited to a calendar year and I understand that they talk about a sextuple, although it was already two seasons and with two different squads. For me it's a "sextuple B", kind of fake. The Bayern thing, in addition to being in two different seasons, is in two different years. Would we then also accept that the league or the cup had been won not in 20 but in 21, to join them with the champions of 20 and...? Too forced. Statistics are not good or bad, fair or unfair. They are statistics. Pinopuente (talk) 08:32, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
Why the change to Sixtuple?
[edit]The word should be sextuple. Google searches only return 'sixtuple' for this page. SamRCossey (talk) 07:39, 23 April 2023 (UTC)
- I've just noticed that the reference links have changed 'sextuple' to 'sixtuple' and no longer work. They do work if the word is reverted back. SamRCossey (talk) 07:42, 23 April 2023 (UTC)
- I have changed all 'sixtuple' examples back to 'sextuple'. I am unsure how to change the page title though, is anyone able to help?
- I am also concerned that the page could keep being reverted back to 'sixtuple'. Maybe because people think that 'sextuple' is vandalism because it has the word sex in it? SamRCossey (talk) 08:00, 23 April 2023 (UTC)
- Hi. As I was on huggle and I saw the title sixtuple with all the words sixtuple being replaced with sextuple. I thought this was vandislim, sorry. Kiwiz1338 (talk) 08:01, 23 April 2023 (UTC)
- I have now changed the title. Kiwiz1338 (talk) 08:11, 23 April 2023 (UTC)
